Writer's Blo(ck)g

First of all greetings to all those who are reading this and will further read this or scroll down or just read the title look at the content(by content I mean the amount of lines in this particular post not the actually thing which is written) and again hit at the exit button. As this is my first blog post it won't be really long nor will I make my blog further on sound like a personal diary, but something more useful and intriguing. This is my first agenda.

This particular name of my blog comes from the very infamous habit of mine. Yes, "procrastination"... wait where was I??... Oh, yes, Procrastination!!! This particular word is common for today's 20 something person like me but really infamous for the elders, yes those similar phoney sounding elders talking about "today's generation". But i would like to clarify that if in their age they had so much influence of media, technology, digitisation etc... they would be equally procrastinating people (maybe more).

Not writing like a teenager any more (which i just realized) let me state about what all would you find in this blog (AS OF NOW).
This blog will include some book reviews which can be digested even by the non readers.
Some really Bizarre Anecdotes, which might be interesting, funny or just readable (depending on your perspective) but not boring.
Short stories and essays written by Tagore and Chetan Bhagat.. (just kidding, its my blog) so yes, written by me which need honest opinions.
Other than that you could always tell me what i should include, remove, shut my writing for and other changes.

Being new to the old trend is scary and being judged is more. But i have seen certain blogs which are just informative, which are too long, which are more stories about the blogger told in a very "I am telling my mom" sort of a way. So my main help is everyone of you. So like, dislike (is there such an option?), comment, laugh, message me your feedbacks on my blog.

I guess this much is enough for the introductory post,
wish to see more engagement in future
Lots of love
Netri.

Book Review: The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle Author: Haruki Murakami Pages: 607 Genre: Surreal Reading a Murakami book is easy. But, what is difficult is to understand it and even after u have understood and interpreted it, it is difficult to explain or review it. I have no idea where to start my review from. So, i have decided to break the novel into its various characters and review through them (which is the way the story is told in the novel). Simplifying the basic plot: The story revolves around the life of Toru Okada and his wife Kumiko Okada. Toru has lost his job and stays at home while Kumiko goes out to work. One fine day, Toru and Kumiko lose their beloved cat, which they had adopted after their marriage. Kumiko expresses the cat to be the sign of their married life and right after losing it things starts breaking down in their married life. Kumiko without prior warning leaves Toru. She asks Toru to file a divorce through her brother and she refuses to meet him...
Book Review: Slowness Author: Milan Kundera Pages: 132 Genre: Magic realism, Abstract, Pure Fiction. I have begun to specify more subheadings in my book review so that many people who are concerned about the number of pages can fight their phobias and try to read. Secondly, for others who like to take an overview of this particular book review could easily get the information about the genre of the book (not everyone reads the entire review, but those who do I bless and thank you from the bottom of my heart). As the name suggests, "Slowness", my internet connection took it way too seriously and I had to deal with the customer care for literally an hour to get my internet work for this blog post. Coming to the book review, this book is actually about the narrator, narrating his tale so it is in a first person. The Narrator sets off for a travel with his wife Vera and halts at a Chateau to spend a night there. His bizarre world of thoughts take on him and he sta...
Time Wrap It was 7 a.m in the morning. Shirley woke up with a different kind of a feeling. She felt really light and relaxed. She surely had a goodnight’s sleep. She was feeling so fresh and good that she almost forgot about the tiff she had with her mother the previous night. Shirley’s parents got divorced when she was in 4 th grade. As per the laws, her mother got her custody. She was allowed to meet her father every weekend. Shirley’s mother was an activist and a socialite. She was always busy with her work, NGO and parties. She loved her mother but lacked the support and love from her mother that an adolescent usually needs. The previous night she had found about her mother’s affair with a middle aged businessman. Well, instead of her mother telling her about it, it was the newspaper which told her...
